The HP Deskjet 6980 and Deskjet 6940 are 4800dpi high-performance photo printers.
Both devices include wired Ethernet, which enables them to be shared between five different computers. In addition the Deskjet 6980 includes WiFi for networking and wireless printing, while SecureEasySetup enables connection to a network in under 10 minutes.
Capable of producing standard and panoramic prints, the Deskjet 6980 and Deskjet 6940 include HP Viera inks that are designed to resist fading for generations, according to research from the Wilheim Institute.
Clocking colour print speeds of 27ppm, increasing to 36ppm for black & white, both printers include an optional 250-sheet paper tray, and two-sided print accessory. HP339 Black and HP344 Tri-Colour Inkjet Print Cartridges can increase productivity even further.
The printers enable six-ink colour printing, with the purchase of the HP 348 Photo or HP 100 Grey Inkjet cartridges.
