The winners of the 2005 Barnardo?s photographic competition have been announced.
Earlier this year to mark its centenary, Barnardo?s held a photographic competition called ?The Face of Multicultural Britain Today? in which entrants were invited to submit a photo along with a 50-word description on this theme.
Judges included: Meera Syal, Poulami Desai, Errol John and Floella Benjamin.
Winners in the 10-16 age category included Daniel Heineman and Ben Giordano from London; while Natalie Dybisz from Leeds and Alina Kisina from Edinburgh were victorious in the 16-25 group; and winners in the 25 and over category included Chris Mole from West Sussex and Michael Melia from Kent.
All the winning photographs will appear in the Banardo?s 2006 calendar. Proceeds from all the sales of the calendar will go to help underprivileged children.
