I have pretty much decided on the Panasonic GX1 with a standard lens kit. My only reservation is that the GX1 ISO only goes down to 160. As I take a lot of landscapes, I dont know if this higher ISO will have any real effect on the quality of the final print, particularly for landscapes and the like

It looks to me as if Panasonic use 80 ISO on the smaller sensors. 160 and 200 on the 4/3rds sensors. The 160 is probably the optimum for the sensor.

I remember shooting film at 25 ISO/ASA LOL

Have a read of this http://photocascadia.wordpress.com/2...so-noise-test/

    Cheers!

Okay. I have decide to go for the Panasonic GX1. I've opted against the collapsable zoom in favvour of the standard 14-42mm lens following a number of reviews that were not very complimentary on it.

I have bought from Camera Centre in Amazon Marketplace who are selling the kit for 399. Seems like a good deal.
