Which One?
At present I have a Canon Powershot SX210IS, which has started to "play up". I have a list of three camera's which I am considering but am stuck as to which one to choose, does anyone have any advice or indeed a further recommendation.
Canon Powershot SX260 HS or Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ30 or Sony Cybershot DSC-HX2-V.
Many thanks

Hi and welcome.
Your choices have certainly picked the cream of the crop for Travel Zooms as they are known due to the long zooms.
My preference is the Panasonic TZ30 http://www.photographyblog.com/revie...c_tz30_review/ for stills. And the Sony HX20v http://www.photographyblog.com/revie...ew/conclusion/for movies.
After that. I would get down to a camera shop and check out the menus, screens and buttons, to see what suits you best.
And don't forget. Post processing is an important part of photography and should be used to sharpen and enhance pictures taken with your camera. If you don't have an imaging editor, then use the one in my signature below. There are http://ictpublish.com/pixlr/ to get you started. The most useful is the http://ictpublish.com/pixlr/Videoes/...06_Levels.html and for even more adjustment. The http://ictpublish.com/pixlr/Videoes/...07_Curves.html is a must (it's my favourite all-in-one adjuster). My Resize-Crop-Sharpen tutorial below, will get your pics ready for the internet or whatever
Cheers!

Hi Heplme, the TZ30 is a "gem" of a camera, I bought one a few weeks ago as I wanted a compact camera with quality results, it is a delight to use, it feels great in the hand! for a small camera it has some amazing results! Hope this helps..Caroline
