Rock solid ball head
| Pros: | Solid, holds a substantial weight |
|---|---|
| Cons: | No spirit level |
The MN486 RC2 head is a stocky little head that's built like a tank.
A single lever unlocks the head, and there's a quick-release plate (on this RC2 version) but no spirit level.
Despite a lighter stated load capacity than the Giottos MH 1302 Series II, it locked a lot more solidly, suggesting that Manfrotto is being very conservative in its weight limit claims.
