A great scanner capable of fine results from 35mm and 4x5 but the 120 carrier is useless as it will not ensure film flatness- a point noted by oem manufacturers in the US who make a better holder available-at a price!. Fortunately by putting the transparency directly on the glass and making a black plastic mask to fit over it I get precise all over focusing by setting the option tab excluding the film carrier setting-no Newton's rings problem so far. It took time to work this out but was well worth the effort.
