After much research, including this review, I took the plunge.I have no regrets.With my Canon EOS 550D it does everything it says on the tin!My only slight problem is,having very large hands, I cannot hold the lens in as comfortable a position as I can my Tamron SP 70-300mm Di OS as the focusing ring on the Sigma is too close to the camera body. (Though, to be fair the Tamron is a much longer lens). I'm sure I'll soon get used to the Sigma though, if for no reason other than I'm likely to use it most.
