Review of the AG Neovo V-10
|Pros:||High resolution screen|
|Cons:||Built-in memory and battery|
Manufacturer: AG Neovo
AG Neovo is primarily an LCD monitor manufacturer, which puts it in a great position to translate the technology to digital photo frames.
This compact, freestanding desktop unit is beautifully designed, with an unobtrusive black surround and curvaceous white rear. The card slots are concealed behind a panel at the top to retain the frame’s streamlined looks, with touch controls in the surround helping you navigate through the occasionally unintuitive menu settings. These control points illuminate in white when active so they’re easy to read, and switch off after a short period of inactivity.
Capable of accepting a range of media cards, the V-10 also features 128Mb of internal memory, which is perfect for storing your favourite pictures. The built-in battery provides up to an hour of cable-less power for the small yet perfectly formed 7in 16:9 format screen. A high resolution and wide viewing angle make this one of the sharpest and clearest frames in this group, although what it gains in this area it loses in its ‘multimedia’ applications.
