I have used this camera and find the image quality to be excellent. I did not find the "overcompression" that you found. The only question I have is how can it be poor in low light and good at higher ISOs at the same time as good pictures at high ISOs relate to low light sensitivity?

Perhaps this is to do with the overall performance, like autofocus performance in low light? If not, I am as puzzled as you, clearly you cannot have a "good" rating at high ISO's, but "poor" for low light performance...
