i brought this camera hoping it would be an improvement from owning the 1000hs but sadly the images when taken of faces are to yellow and washed, even at close range eye brows, teeth and lips lack clarity, the old canon IS cameras were much better, but if you like taking pictures of flowers and objects then it would suit you, the design is awesome, but the battery is very poor after 40 pictures on a day out the battery is half way, also lacks features you need in auto, and no ISO 80 :(
