If you were to choose between a Nikon p300 or a s2800 which camera would you choose? I want something to have in my bag that takes good photos inside and out. I am not worried about filming movies. I prefer the design of the p300 and would prefer that but is it as good a camera for taking images as the s8200?.

I was told that 8200 is superior to p300 in most of features. Being an amateur, I did believe in it and bought it. So far so good

Not very pleased with the Coolpix S8200. ON/OFF switch does not always work.
