Agreed with other comments. Had a similar model Nikon before that was 5 mp. This one definately produces poorer pictures.

Bought this to replace a 7.1mp Sony. I wanted something very small to carry around. Sadly the picture quality is just not very good at all. A great shame as I would have preferred a lower mega-pixel with sharper image and less aggressive noise reduction. Having said that it really is small which was a major factor and to be fair it will produce good prints (snaps?) up to the 5x7 okay.

Agree with the other comments. Very poor picture quality overall. Am currently looking for something else as getting rather irritated by this now.

Very poor quality results for a Nikon.Focus is not good even in full light. Looking for something better.
