The challenge here was to pull toghether the gypsy outfit with flowers, soft tones in an angelic way to show the natural flow of the garment with a young girl. I love the way the forgrounds colors, tones and bleeding into the skirt creates the illusion of it being together.

Love the editorial nature of this photo, I wanted have color on the bottom half of the image to bring out the clothes and I used the the overcast almost white sky to bring out the contrast of the dark skin tones…it’s almost the same technique one might use in photoshop with the gradient tool; again using all natural light to effect the tones of the photo.

this is the most well know composition by Francisco Tarrega, the great romantic guitar spanish composer. You can almost hear Alhambra water sounds within the trebble tremolo. Left overexposed on purpose.
