Manfrotto is a name that’s synonymous with camera supports, but now the company has added apparel and bags to their range. Along with a range of backpacks and shoulder bags, Manfrotto also offers a sling bag range known as Stile Agile.

If you haven’t come across a sling bag, they look similar to a backpack, but have a single shoulder strap 
and side entry that allows you to sling it round under your arm and access your kit from the front. They’re not designed to take masses of kit, but should hold enough if you’re going to be wandering around a city for the day.

The Stile Agile V is a modern looking, well-finished bag. The main compartment provides enough space to fit a decent-sized DSLR in and standard zoom lens, with space either side for another lens and various accessories. If you want, a fast 70-200mm f/2.8 will happily sit in there, with the camera and standard lens squeezed in the top compartment.

There’s an additional pocket on the other side of the bag with enough space for a notebook – an old-school paper one rather than computer. The bag also has an external tripod connection for small or travel ‘pods.

With the bag loaded up and on your shoulder, the padded strap and rear of the bag make for a 
not-uncomfortable experience considering the weight on a 
single shoulder, with an extra support strap adding stability. And when you want to grab your kit, it’s quick and easy to pull the bag round to the front.
