Samsung NX500 Review – Verdict

Samsung NX500 product shot 4

With an excellent sensor, solid feature set and remarkably capable autofocus, the NX500 has a lot to offer photographers who are looking to travel light without sacrificing image quality or shooting performance.

Its extensive external controls should appeal to enthusiasts, while its touchscreen and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity make it more approachable to smartphone users.

The bundled 16-50mm kit zoom f/3.5-5.6 gives very acceptable image quality, and Samsung’s NX lens range covers most options. However the NX500 does face very strong competition from cheaper rivals like the Sony Alpha 5100 and Fujifilm X-A2.
