Four new cameras have been added to Fujifilmu2019s compact range, the V10 Zoom, F470 Zoom, A400 Zoom and A500 Zoom.

Four new cameras have been added to Fujifilm?s compact range, the V10 Zoom, F470 Zoom, A400 Zoom and A500 Zoom.
Incorporating a 5MP Super CCD HR sensor, the FinePix V10 has a 3in LCD with a resolution of 230,000 pixels and a 38-130mm (35mm equivalent) 3x optical zoom.
It boasts a 1.5-sec start time, and Fujifilm claims that the V10 has a fast shutter lag of 0.01sec.
In common with other Fujifilm compacts (such as the F11) the V10 includes Fujifilm?s Real Photo Technology, with sensitivity ranging from ISO 64 to 1600, making it suitable for shooting in low-light conditions.
Adrian Clarke from Fujifilm comments: ?Fujifilm has built up an enviable reputation as the only manufacturer to produce a range of compact digital cameras that can achieve high sensitivity at full resolution.?
A novel feature of the camera is the inclusion of four arcade-style games, including a maze puzzle, blockbuster and shooting game. Fujifilm says the camera controls have been specifically positioned to ensure easy handing while being played.
The V10 incorporates a selection of new features. Natural Light and Flash scene mode takes two pictures, one with and one without the flash, which the photographer can compare. The supplied xD-Picture Card includes a tutorial explaining its functions.
Other features include a zoom display for checking detail in the picture when shooting, 30-frame playback mode, 30fps VGA movie mode and PictBridge compatibility.
The V10 will be available in March.
The ?user-friendly? FinePix F470 Zoom includes a 6MP CCD, 2.5in LCD and 3x optical zoom. With dimensions of 91.9 x 58.1 x 19.7mm, the camera features a raised side grip to ensure comfort and security when shooting.
Ten shooting modes are found, including Portrait, Landscape, Beach and snow and Flower, each optimised for shooting in different conditions with minimum fuss. Other features include a 30fps 640×480 VGA movie mode and 16Mb internal memory.
The F470 is due for release at the end of March.
Joining Fujifilm?s entry-level range of digital compacts, the A400 and A500 both feature 4.1MP and 5.1MP Super CCD HR sensors, which Fujifilm claims can produce sharp photos with accurate colour.
Both compacts include a 3x optical zoom, 1.8in LCD and 12MB internal memory.
Powered by AA batteries, the cameras include four scene modes each, selectable white balance (sensitivity up to ISO 400) and a QVGA movie mode.
