Nikon Coolpix L10 Review

If you want good image quality in an attractively designed body, then Nikon’s L10 could be the answer. With a 5MP sensor, a 3x optical zoom and an impressive ISO range of 64-800, the L10 is compact and although the body is plastic, it has a sleek design and a well-spaced set of buttons. The results are good too, with Nikon’s ‘D Lighting’ system managing to get the exposure right in the majority of occasions. Another area the camera excels in is its lack of noise, again showing that there’s no definite correlation between megapixels and image quality, as overall image quality is very good. The only sore point about the camera is its slow writing speeds, which often delays the next shot being taken.n

Verdict

When buying one of the cameras you need to bear in mind that they are the manufacturers’ entry-level models and they will lack certain features available on cameras with a higher price. Having said that, it offers a good range of options for the price
