Editor Nigel Atherton to appear on Working Lunch at 12.30 today

Today our very own Nigel Atherton will be appearing on BBC’s Working Lunch at 12.30 to talk about a couple of new cameras including the Sony NEX-5. As this new area of digital photography has begun gaining more coverage over the last year or so with the launch of the Olympus E-P1, Panasonic GF1 and Samsung NX10 the mainstream media has become more enamored with the combination of DSLR functionality in a compact shell. More advertising campaigns are expected in the run up to the World Cup, especially from major sponsors Sony, so the visibility of hybrid cameras will be increased even further.

NB: If you’re in the UK, you can watch it here on the BBC iplayer until next Monday 31st July.

Either one will work. What will be more important is your skill as a phorogtapher (if you overexpose your photos, you will wash out the color). If you don’t keep your hand steady, you will shake the camera when you snap the shutter, resulting in poor picture quality.
