Designed to honour student talent, the winners of the fifth Design Achievement awards have been announced.
More than 1500 college students from around the world entered this year?s competition, competing in nine categories including: Digital Illustration, Digital Photography, Print, Self-expression and Animation.
Melissa Dyrdahl from Adobe comments: ?As we celebrate the program?s fifth year, this competition continues to serve as a powerful way to recognise a new generation of creative professionals, showcase remarkable student work, and kick start some promising young careers.?
The awards were presented at a ceremony at the Guggenheim Museum in New Work. Micah Ganske from Yale School of Art was pronounced winner of the Digital Photography category, Elizabeth Buchta and David Field were runners up. The winner of the Digital Illustration category was Klaas Neumann from Hochschule fur Angewandte Wisschschaften in Hamburg; runners-up were Elliot Lim and Rebecca Shostak.
