did he mention the 50/60 fps rates at VGA of 720p video mode? I quite prefer the 720p@60fps over the 1080p@30fps because quick scenses are captured much smoother. I also don't know why this is a beginners camera. As a non professional, I like the size of the rebel series, I would not buy a "professional" dslr just because it is too big. the rebels are just handy enough to take every where.
