The first thing that strikes you about the new Ergo Tech bag range is the material from which the bags are made. Kata’s unique ‘ElastoGuard laminate’ (a neoprene derivative to us Average Joes) provides the bags with a flexible and resistant body making them comfortable to wear and secure for your camera.

Our favourite is the Sensitivity V backpack (£95) with its carrying capability delivered in two main compartments, each with enough space for a DSLR and lens.

The compartments have a zipped division, enabling the two parts to be combined into one larger space if needed.

Multiple other pockets on the bag are suitable for compacts and accessories, with a compartment on the rear offering storage for a small laptop.

The design also drew many an admiring glance from friends during testing.

Kata is also offering smaller bags in the range, with the Focus N (£40) delivering a ‘tardis-esque’ capacity for a DSLR, compact, wallet, mp3 player – and more – in a shoulder-bag size that is perfect for days out taking photos.

It’s a shame the larger bags don’t have adjustable dividers, but the great fabrication and futuristic style more than make amends.

Verdict:
The fact that pals commented on this bag is testament to its design but it also carried all of the kit needed

Pros:
Lovely looking and secure

Cons:
The larger bags don’t have adjustable dividers
