Title: How to Photograph Absolutely Everything: Successful Pictures from Your Digital Camera

Edition: Hardback

Review: Well-known photographer, author and TV presenter Tom Ang makes a bold claim in the title of his latest technique manual, but makes a pretty good stab at fulfilling it, with over 100 subjects and themes given the step by step treatment. Whether it’s taking baby portraits, flower close-ups or traffic trails, Tom pops up in his ubiquitous hat to show us how it’s done, so that the reader is effectively shadowing him. The advice is fairly general, and not overly technically, but for newcomers to creative photography it’s probably perfectly pitched. The example pictures, almost all of which were taken by Ang himself, are just right too: good but not unachievable to the reader.
