The DV-325 is easy to set-up, but its menu navigation is less straightforward.

And also on the negative side of things – it doesn’t have a Scart connection or USB port and isn’t very durable.

You can display photographs at full size or as thumbnails, as well as rotate and zoom in and out.

Choose from 14 transitions and photos can be played at intervals of 1, 3, 5 and 10 seconds. The card needs to be firmly inserted and it had problems reading some of JPEGs (it is supposed to be able to read these as well as MPEG-4, VCD, SVCD, dat, MPEG2, MPEG1, DiVX v5 and AVI Motion JPEG files).

It will read CF I/II, SD, MS, MS Pro, SM and MMC memory cards but, as a final gripe – surprisingly – it doesn’t support xD.

It comes with an AC adaptor, composite cables, remote control and batteries, and is 120x80x20mm.

Verdict:
Easy to set up but a little limited
