Uk distributor Flaghead Photographic has had to put up the price of the Walkstool – that nifty, portable seat for snappers for use when out and about.

Says Hardy Haas, the man behind Flaghead Photographic: ‘We have just been informed by Scandinavian Touch, the makers of the Walkstool, that their prices will go up as of 01 January 2009. This combined with the strong Euro means that we have to pass on at least some of the increase in landed cost.’

The Basic 50 and Basic 60 models are now £27.60; the Comfort 45 is £56.35; the Comfort 55 is £62.10; the Comfort 65 is £67.85 and finally, the top of the range Comfort 75 is £73.60.
