Cardmedia has announced the X?S Drive 2 XL VP2260, the latest portable storage device from Vosonic.
It incorporates a blue backlit display, which displays file-transfer information and remaining battery power. Images can be transferred onto the device using the one-touch copy button, from all the major memory card formats including CompactFlash, SecureDigital, xD-Picture Card and Memory Stick.
Transfer speeds for 1Gb cards are approximately 8 minutes. Also, up to two hours use is provided by the internal batteries, which are rechargeable.
Replacing the VP2160, the VP2260 is available in capacities up to 80Gb and will retail at £140 for 30Gb. Find out more at www.xs-drive.com
