An internship and £5000 are among the top prizes in a competition from Motorola, challenging entrants to look to the future of communications.
MOTOFWRD is a nationwide competition open to full and part-time students. Entrants are invited to submit entries showing: ?how tomorrow?s society will answer the consumer demand to live life, wherever, whenever and however.?
The ?seamless mobility? of wireless technology, and how we use it to access information and communicate with each other and our work wherever we are, is a theme of the competition.
Ed Zander from Motorola comments: ?Through the MOTOFWRD competition we are challenging emerging innovators to inspire us? This programme allows the next generation of scientists, inventors and designers to show us their best.?
Entries can be in word or visual format, including photography, essays, comic strips, short films. The winner will receive a Bluetooth-equipped car, £5000 cash, a six-week internship at the relevant Motorola with a £1500 stipend and a selection of Motorola products. Judges include Martin Raymond from the Future Laboratory and Lislotte Lyngso from the Global Future Forum. Three runners-up will receive a selection of Motorola goodies.
