The 15mm f/2.8 DG Diagonal Fisheye lens is constructed from 7 elements in 6 groups. It has a maximum magnification of 1:3:8 and a minimum shooting distance of 15cm. With dimensions of 73.5x65mm and a weight of 370g, the lens is supplied with a fitted padded case and a gelatin filter holder and will cost £449.99.
Constructed from 10 elements in 6 groups, the 8mm f/4 EX DG Circular Fisheye lens can focus 20cm away from the subject, producing circular images with a 180° angle-of-view. Sigma claims that the lens is suitable for applications that require solid-angle measurements or for photographers creating panoramas using stitching software. Weighing 320g and with dimensions of 73.5x63mm, the 8mm f/4 EX DG Circular Fisheye lens will cost £579.88.
A reduction of the effect of ghost and lens flare is promised from a multi-layer coating in both lenses, which is also designed to produce photos with accurate colour balance.
