Travel Photographer of the Year (TPOTY) is an international photographic competition designed to find the very best in travel photography. Anyone can enter ? young or old, amateur or professional ? and there?s a total prize package worth over £60,000.

The competition has four portfolio categories and a single image category. Each category has a different theme and between them they cover every possible aspect of travel photography.

This year?s category topics include Streetlife, Iconic, Wild and North of 30

Degrees while the single image category theme is Festival.

The overall winner will receive a 14-day adventure holiday to Mozambique and South Africa courtesy of G.A.P Adventures, combining big game watching with experiencing glorious Indian Ocean beaches; a Hewlett Packard Designjet 130 printer, Gretag Macbeth Eye One Display plus a generous supply of A1, A2 and A3 paper and fade-resistant HP dye-based inks; Adobe Photoshop CS and Video Collection software, plus a Plastic Sandwich leather portfolio book, made in the winner?s own choice of size and format and personalised with their name.

Category prizes include a Hasselblad H2 kit, Fujifilm S3 Pro, Mamiya 7II

with choice of lenses, Adobe CS Collection software, and trips to India, Bahamas, Sri Lanka and Thailand, Wacom Intuos 3 Wide graphics

tablets and HP Photosmart Pro B9180 A3+ Photo Printers.

The Young Travel Photographer of the Year will win a HP Photosmart 8450 printer and HP Scanjet 4890 photo scanner, Wacom Graphire 4 Classic pen tablet, Adobe Creative Suite Premium software, and a leather portfolio book from Plastic Sandwich.
