The card boasts write speeds of up to 6MB per second and fits into Class 4 in HC (High capacity) memory card speeds. Compatible with SDHC supporting devices, the card meets the rising demand for higher capacity cards as manufacturers increase the megapixel count of their cameras.

The company has also announced a 16GB version of the card to be launched in October. The 32GB card will see its release in January of next year.
