Casio has introduced three new cameras into its EXILIM range incorporating anti-shake technology.
Offering a 7.2MP resolution the EX-Z120 includes 32 BEST SHOT modes. 28 BESTSHOT modes feature on the EX-Z110 and EX-Z10, which have resolutions of 6MP and 5MP respectively. As well as pre-set scene modes adjustments to the shutter and aperture can be made using the Manual mode.
All three incorporate Anti Shake DSP; a feature designed to reduce the effects of camera shake, while optics take the form of a 3x optical zoom lens.
Power is supplied from 2x AA batteries. According to CIPA standards the EX-Z120 can capture 170 shots, the EX-Z110 180 shots and the EX-Z10 270 shots from a single charge.
At the heart of each camera lies the EXILIM Engine, helping to produce good-quality photos, enable fast operation and reduce power consumption; Casio claim it is 1.5-second before you can take a picture with the EX-Z110, decreasing to 1.3-seconds for the EX-Z10 and EX-Z110.
Pictures can be viewed on a 2-inch TFT LCD and stored on the 8.7Mb internal memory. Other features include: a 640 x 480 VGA movie mode, Auto Macro and Quick Shutter, while High Sensitivity Mode can be used for photographing in dull conditions.
