SDHC and micro SDHC options unveiled in the Essential and Plus ranges

Samsung has announced two new memory card ranges, Essential and Plus, which are available in the SDHC and micro SDHC card types. Both are built to be extremely durable, standing up to being dropped on the ground, in water and being close to a magnet.

The main difference between the two types is speed, as the Essential card is either Class 4 or Class 6, and the Plus is Class 10 giving a potential write speed of up to 21MB/s. As the previous incarnation of the card was extremely impressive we’re interested to see the amount of punishment the new versions will be able to take.

The Samsung Essential and Plus memory cards are available in 2GB to 16GB capacities, with prices from £7.99 – £38.99. For more information head to Samsung’s website.
