New capabilities for creating, sharing, and viewing digital content

For those of you out there with large image collections you like to backup on DVD, Roxio has updated its disc burning software.

According to AppleInsider, Toast 10 Titanium and Titanium Pro include new capabilities for creating, sharing, and viewing digital content.

Toast 10 Titanium is available now for download for $99.99, and adds, among other features, the AVCHD Archive tool for backing up content from high-definition camcorders onto DVD or Blu-ray Discs (the latter is only possible, however, with a plug-in that will cost you an extra $19.99 after 05 February). It also adds Folder Sync for synchronising folders between multiple computers, network volumes or external hard disks.

Toast 10 Titanium Pro, which is $149.99, includes the High Definition/Blu-ray Disc plug-in as standard but also includes four third-party applications for developing advanced photo, video and audio projects.

These include LightZone and FotoMagico for zone mapping and relight, and slideshow creation respectively.

Roxio is offering $20 off both versions of Toast 10 for owners of its Easy Media Creator, Easy CD & DVD Creator, Easy CD & DVD Burning, Easy DVD Copy, PhotoSuite, VideoWave, Toast Titanium, Popcorn, Record Now, MyDVD, DVD It, and Backup MyPC suites.
