Ricoh has launched a firmware update for its GR Digital II compact camera.

The firmware update, version 2.30, now enables manual flash control as one of the improvements.

Version 2.30 also introduces the ability to store white balance compensation values under ‘my settings’.

Also amongst the updates is a ‘Today’s Shots’ feature that displays the amount of images taken on a particular day upon powering off the camera.
