Phase One wants to help you get more from RAW by using its updated Capture One RAW Workflow software. The revamped application now supports more cameras and RAW file formats than ever before and is also now compatible with Intel-based Macs.
Version 3.7.4 of the software is a universal Mac application designed to run natively on both Intel and PowerPC Mac computers. Phase One claims that the new software offers a 40 per cent faster capture rate when run on Intel-based models, while RAW file processing is 15 per cent quicker on both types of Macs according to the manufacturer.
Windows users are likewise promised an enhanced capture and processing rate with the new version, and manufacturer tests claim performance gains of up to 200 per cent.
