The acclaimed Pentax 645D is due for a UK release in early December this year, according to Pentax.

The high-resolution medium-format Pentax 645D had previously only been available on foreign shores, though UK photographers will no doubt be pleased that the camera, which we were lucky enough to have a hands-on with back in July, is coming to our shores.

Furthermore, the Pentax 645D is compatible with all existing Pentax 645 lenses.

The Pentax 645D will be available from early December 2010, with an RRP of £8,999 (body only) and £9,999 (inc. 55mm SDM 645 lens).
