Panasonic has announced a pair of updates for its Lumix GF1 and G series of lenses.

The update for the Lumix GF1 features a range of improvements involving both video and still capture improvement. AF performance in movie recording is improved, while Auto White Balance performance is tweaked in still capture mode. Picture quality also sees improvements in high sensitivity settings and both portrait and scenery program modes. Finally, accessibility to MF assist function with MF lenses is also improved.

Lens firmware updates apply to six lenses across the range and improve on a range of AF functions within those lenses.
