Panasonic Batteries has unveiled a competition that seeks to reward the best amateur travel photography talent in the UK.
The contest is appealing for entries that feature any travel related subject, from portraits and landscapes to an unusual situation or a humorous slice of life.
Participants can enter up to six photos through the competition?s website at www.photo-award.com. The contest is open up until 31 October ? giving photographers plenty of time to shoot their travels during the coming summer season.
A jury made up of Panasonic Batteries experts and photographers will select winners each month while the competition is open. The final overall winner will be crowned the Panasonic Batteries Amateur Photographer of the Year 2006 and will win a trip to New York.
