The 5MP C-315Z is the newest member of Olympus?s Camedia range, sporting a 2.8x optical zoom.
Succeeding the C-310Z, this budget compact features a 1.8-inch sunshine LCD composed of 85,000 pixels. Constructed from 7 elements in 6 groups, the lens has a focal length equivalent to 38-106mm in a 35mm camera.
As well as a Program exposure mode the C-315Z has five scene modes including portrait, self-portrait, night scene and landscape. Manual adjustments can be made to the white balance and exposure compensation.
Other features include a movie mode, PictBridge support and a super macro mode that can focus as close as 2cm to the subject.
