LaCie has again got world-renowned designer Neil Poulton on board to create a hard drive with a huge 1TB of storage capabilities.

The LaCinema Classic Hard Disk is not only sleek looking but is also claimed to be the ultimate device for multimedia fans as it will store
more than 1000 movies, or 250,000 songs, or one million
photographs.

It is also designed to store HD content so can be connected up to any TV using its HDMI connection (which then delivers HDMI 1080p upscaling) to show pictures, music and movies, as well as having a USB connection so you can instantly playback USB key content.

Weighing just over one kilogram, the LaCinema Classic is also extremely compact.

LaCinema Classic comes in 500GB (gigabyte) and 1TB models, offering the
Hi-Speed USB 2.0 interface for PC or Mac, as well as HDMI and composite outputs
for video, and stereo and coaxial S/PDIF outputs for audio.
