Kenro has used the stage of Focus on Imaging to announce the new Nissin Di866 Professional Speedlight.

The unit is designed for use with digital SLRs and boasts many features specifically designed for professional and advanced photographers.

The Nissin Di866 has a guide number of 60m at ISO 100 and 105mm, Nissin’s original ‘My TTL’ adjustable light output level and firmware updates thanks to the onboard USB port.

The gun also features high speed synchronisation high frequency pulse rate, allowing synchronisation for shutter speeds over 1/250th second.

Compatible with both Canon and Nikon digital SLRs and PowerShot/COOLPIX cameras with hotshoes, the Di866 has an SRP of £304.34 plus VAT. Availability is yet to be announced.
