We'll be running running free Photography Masterclasses with Olympus and Amateur Photographer.

Visit us this weekend at our ‘Thames Lens Master Classes’ 12-6pm each day.  The Mayor’s Thames Festival takes place on Sat 12th and Sun 13th September and is a spectacular free open-air celebration of London and its river. The Festival features an exciting programme of events and activities which take place right in the heart of London between Westminster Bridge and Tower Bridge and beyond. Our Thames Lens Master Class marquee will be in front of More London on the Riverside Walkway by HMS Belfast on the South Bank.

As well as a Fire Garden, a free Feast on Southwark Bridge, an Open Air Performance, River Events, Music & Dance, Family Entertainment and the Festival Finale Night Procession on Sunday night , What Digital Camera and Amateur Photographer are teaming up with Olympus to bring you free drop-in ‘London and River Photography’ master classes with editorial staff and accomplished photographers in a marquee on the river bank between 12 noon and 6pm each day.

Olympus will be loaning out cameras for readers to test (deposit required), and Olympus, WDC and AP experts will talk readers through the top tips to get great photos of London and the River.

Enter your best shots into The Mayor’s Thames Festival photographic competition, located at the The Mayor’s Thames Festival website for your chance to win an Olympus EP1 + 14mm lens worth £699.99, Magazine subscriptions or a School of Photographic Imaging photography course.
