Joby has launched two innovative GorillaMobile stand/cases for the Apple iPad which are designed to enable viewing from a variety of angles.
The GorillaMobile Yogi is aimed at consumers who want to be able to suport their iPad anywhere and everywhere, using the company’s familiar bendy Gorillapod tripod legs, which attach to the iPad via a rigid protective polycarbonate case that fits snugly on the back of the device. By bending the legs into the required shape, the iPad can be stood upright on any surface in either the landscape or portrait orientation, or fixed at any angle. The legs can also be hooked over the back of a car seat or the end of a bed for hands free viewing.
The GorillaMobile Ori is a more sophisticated device that transforms in seconds from a rigid protective case to a stand that can be set up in a variety of ways for a wide range of applications. Constructed from a German made aluminium/polypropylene composite, the Ori can be angled for typing, reading on a worktop (for following cooking recipes in the kitchen, for example) or stood up for viewing movies and slide shows or holding business presentations.
The GorillaMobile Yogi retails at £39.99 and the GorillaMobile Ori is priced at £69.99 and both are available from Amazon.co.uk
