Paterson Photographic is now stocking the latest range of affordable studio lights from Interfit. Among the range are flash, tungsten and halogen lights.
The EXD 200 is a digitally compatible daylight flash, with 5v sync voltage. It has a guide number of 45, and is controllable in 1/10 stop increments over a 5 f-stop range. A built in infra red slave unit allows freedom when used with the optional IRX transmitter. The prices start from £369.99 for the 200 Watt/sec umbrella / softbox kit. A single EXD200 head costs £149.00.
The 300W Venus 300 offers similar specification as the EXD 200, along with a rubberized casing for protection on the move. Prices start at £379 for a twin umbrella kit, to £449 for the twin softbox kit. A single head costs £159.
Tungsten fans are accommodated by the Stellar Tungsten ranger offering 3200K colour temperature and an S type bayonet. Price for a single lamp is £62.99, while twin kits with umbrellas cost £246 and with softboxes cost £319.
If halogen is your preferred lighting then the Stellar Halogen 1000 and 1300 may be more up your street. Featuring either 1000W or 1300W of power, the lights have robust alluminium casing, fan cooling and S type bayonets. They can also be integrated with the Tungsten lights. The lights also allow proportional adjustment of output and modelling lamp. A single unit starts at £176.66, while kit prices start at £251.99 for a single light and 60? softbox and air damped stand, while a pair of twin kits are available from £549.99. Prices are yet to be confirmed for the 1300W units.
