HP has released the Photosmart 475 Compact Photo Printer, with the capacity to store up 1,000 photos.
Described as the ?most advanced compact photo printer in the industry? it enables users to store photos on the printer, which can be sorted in chronological order, thus bypassing a home computer.
Photos can be transferred onto the 475 from a memory card or Pictbridge compatible camera or directly from a mobile phone with an optional Bluetooth adaptor. Supplied with the printer is a remote control and cable, enabling photographs to be viewed on a television.
In a first for a portable printer, the 475 can produce borderless prints from 5 x 7-inches up to 4 x 12-inches. Pictures can be viewed on the 2.5-inch LCD screen, which flips out, the 475 also incorporates HP Real Life technologies – such as red-eye removal ? enabling users to edit their pictures within the printer.
Attaching a CD/DVD writer enables pictures to be stored directly onto CD.
The HP Photosmart 475 will hit the shops in August for around £249. Visit www.hp.com/uk or call 0870 010 4320 for more details.
