New version of the Stellar camera comes in three bespoke body colours

Back in July Hasselblad released the Stellar, a bespoke version of Sony’s RX100 that sported a deluxe grip available in six different materials, from mahogany to carbon fibre.

Now the Stellar brand has returned with Stellar Special Edition, a range that comprises three editions of the camera in different body colours: white, black and orange.

The range of handgrips has also been carried over from the previous Stellar model, including such interesting-sounding woods as padouk and wenge

The Stellar Special Editions will ship with bespoke camera cases in black or white leather, which come with matching shoulder and wrist straps.

The latest Stellar cameras are priced at £1975. For details, visit www.hasselblad-stellar.com

The wood is beautiful, very tactile, but I don’t get the point. It looks added on instead of part of the camera.

It’s got the looks only a mother could love?
