Fujifilm has announced the launch of a new 2GB version of its compact xD-Picture Card, doubling the storage capacity of the current highest capacity models. The xD-Picture Card Type M M2GB will be compatible with Fujifilm’s latest range of compact digital cameras and all future models launched.
The new card uses high-density MLC (Multi Level Cell) memory technology to achieve 2GB storage capacity, which it packs into a compact 20 x 22 x 17mm shell. Storage capacity is predicted to continue growing with the development of the digital camera market, and Fujifilm will continue to boost the performance of its xD-Picture Card as digital cameras increase in functionality and resolution. MLC technology has the potential to deliver up to 8GB of storage capacity in a single card in the future.
The new capacity card will be available in September, point your browser to www.fujifilm.co.uk for further details.
