Featuring a 6MP sixth-generation Super CCD, the Fujifilm F30 Zoom is the world?s first to reach ISO 3200 at maximum image size.
The F30 follows last year?s F10, which attained a maximum sensitivity level of ISO 1800. The new camera can shoot at full resolution at ISO 3200, making it eight times as effective for shooting in low-light conditions than models using ISO 400. The Super CCD and Real Photo Processor work together to produce pictures with minimal noise and reduced blurring, in low-light conditions.
Featuring a 36-108mm (35mm equ) 3x optical zoom lens, CV film on the 2.5in LCD is designed to reduce the effect of flare and ghosting.
The ?intelligent flash? system uses the camera?s high sensitivity levels to produce images that are naturally lit with balanced exposure, without the need to use conventional or slow-sync flash that can produce harsh effects.
Fujifilm claims that the NP-95 battery can capture 500 pictures from a single charge. The camera also boasts a 1.4sec start-up and 0.01 sec shutter lag.
The 15 new scene modes include: Underwater, Beach and snow, and Party. It also features a 640×480 30fps movie mode and 5cm macro mode.
Fujifilm has yet to announce a price for the F30 Zoom, which will be available in May 2006.
