LIFE: A Journey Through Time to be performed by the London Symphony Orchestra

The Frans Lanting Studio has announced the London Premiere of the multimedia production of LIFE: A Journey Through Time.

The production will form part of a special ‘Celebrating Our Planet’ evening, taking place at London’s Barbican Centre on Sunday February 21st, 2010.

The London Symphony Orchestra will be performing music by Philip Glass, and will be led by Marin Alsop. The production itself will last an hour and combines images from Lanting’s LIFE book with Glass’s musical score.

Following the performance there will be a ‘Post-concert Discussion with the Artists’, which itself will be moderated by Marin Alsop and will feature Frans Lanting and other distinguished guests.
