There?s a new contender in the digital camera marketplace in the unlikely shape of pre-school toy manufacturer Fisher Price. The company has unveiled its first digital camera designed specifically for young children, the Kid-Tough.
Available in pink or blue colour schemes, the Kid-Tough combines a 1.3inch LCD, 8MB internal storage and an SD card slot with a child-friendly design. The camera promises simple controls and visual icons that enable children to navigate the camera without the need for literacy. A ?drop-proof? shell, dual handle grips, two-eye viewing and auto flash all aim to make the Kid-Tough robust and simple enough for young children to use.
The camera is suitable for users aged three and above and will arrive in shops nationwide from the end of July priced around £59.99. Full details are available at http://www.fisher-price.com/preschoolelectronics/
