A new Photobox microsite is offering a fresh way for users to share and get creative with their pictures. Photobox Mosaic is being billed as ?an exciting and innovative application for sharing and printing digital photographs? and allows users to be part of a bigger picture by simply uploading photos to www.photobox.co.uk/mosaic.
The microsite is split into two sections, My Mosaic and Win Mosaic. The first enables Photobox members to build up one large photo created from hundreds of their own personal photographs, and the second offers access to an online community of photo fans from all around the world.
Consumers are invited to log on to My Mosaic to upload their favourite digital image onto the PhotoBox Mosaic website where it will be split into 1,600 distinct Mosaic squares. Each one can then be filled with other images chosen by the user. Users can also invite friends and family to add their own photos, enabling users to build up a giant shared memory of digital images.
Win Mosaic works differently, and offers a range of prizes, from digital cameras to PhotoBox products. To be in with a chance to win, users need to upload images into one of the ready made Win Mosaics. Certain squares will be designated ?winning sqaures? and users who uncover such areas will be eligible for a prize.
